Post Falls, Idaho
For every plant we sell, we choose the one we'd plant in our own yard. That's the standard — and the reason our customers keep coming back season after season.
Plant Huggers Nursery isn't a big-box store with a garden center tacked on. We're a locally owned nursery in Post Falls that started with a simple conviction: people deserve plants that actually survive — and the guidance to make them flourish.
Every shrub, perennial, and tree on our property is grown with attention to the Pacific Northwest climate. We don't stock plants just to fill space. We stock plants that belong here — and we're honest about what works in your yard and what doesn't.

selection
From foundation plantings to container gardens, we carry a thoughtfully curated selection suited to the Inland Northwest.
Ornamental and specimen trees, flowering shrubs, and evergreens selected for hardiness in Zone 6b. We help you pick the right plant for the right place.
Color that comes back year after year, and seasonal annuals that burst with life through summer. We rotate our selection so there's always something new to discover.
Hand-picked containers and potting supplies. Whether you need a statement piece for your porch or a complete planter arrangement, we'll help you put it together.
Low-maintenance ground covers, creeping perennials, and erosion control plants. Beautiful solutions for those tricky spots that grass won't touch.
Premium topsoil, mulch, compost, and plant food. Healthy soil is the foundation of a healthy garden — and we carry what actually makes a difference.
Our team knows plants — and we're happy to share that knowledge. From planting depth to pruning timing, stop by and ask. No question is too small.
